Basics
How HomeServiceExperts.com works
HomeServiceExperts.com is a home service estimate and lead-matching
platform. It helps homeowners start projects with better information
and helps participating local providers receive more qualified
opportunities based on service type, ZIP code, and provider coverage.
A homeowner selects a service, adds project details, uploads photos
when available, and submits the request. The platform reviews the
information, provides an estimate-first experience when supported,
and may route the opportunity to a participating local provider.
The platform is designed for multiple home service categories,
including decks, flooring, painting, tree service, junk removal,
fencing, roofing, concrete, gutters, siding, garage doors,
pest control, demolition, and other property services.
No. You can start by submitting your project details online.
If a provider needs more information, they may follow up to clarify
scope, pricing, timing, or scheduling.
Estimates
Estimates & accuracy
No. Estimates are informational ranges based on the project details,
photos, location, and visible pricing factors provided. Final pricing
may change after provider review, additional information, or on-site
confirmation.
Final pricing can change because of hidden conditions, missing
information, material choices, access issues, project size,
local labor costs, disposal fees, permit requirements, or provider-specific
pricing rules.
Accuracy depends on the service category, quality of photos,
detail in your notes, location, access conditions, project size,
material requirements, and whether all important project factors
are visible or described.
In some cases, yes. If the request is unclear, complex, outside the
normal pricing range, or requires provider judgment, a human review
or provider follow-up may be needed before final pricing or scheduling.
Photos
Photo uploads
Photos are not always required, but they often make the estimate
more useful. Photos can show project size, condition, materials,
access, damage, debris, or other visible factors that affect scope
and pricing.
Yes. Multiple photos from different angles usually help. For larger
or more complex projects, include wide shots, close-ups, and photos
showing access points, stairs, damage, dimensions, or materials.
Yes. The upload preview lets you review selected photos and remove
individual images before submitting your estimate request.
Use bright, clear photos. Include the full project area, important
close-ups, problem areas, dimensions if relevant, and access conditions
such as stairs, driveways, basements, gates, elevators, or tight spaces.
Providers
Local providers & scheduling
Requests may be matched with participating providers based on ZIP code,
service category, provider service areas, provider account status,
lead balance, availability, and routing rules configured for the site.
If your request is matched, a participating provider may contact you
to confirm details, review the project, answer questions, finalize
pricing, or schedule the work.
Some requests may be routed exclusively to one eligible provider.
Lead routing depends on service area coverage, provider eligibility,
project type, market availability, and site configuration.
Providers
Providers & lead buyers
Providers can sign up, provide business details, define service areas,
and select the services they cover. Admin approval may be required
before providers can receive leads.
Provider matching is based heavily on ZIP codes and service areas.
The more ZIP codes a provider covers, the more eligible opportunities
they may be able to receive, depending on service category and local demand.
Providers may need sufficient available lead balance before receiving
paid matched leads. If a provider balance is too low, the provider may
be skipped until funds are added.
A provider usually needs approval, active status, service areas,
matching profile information, and sufficient available lead balance
before the platform can route paid opportunities to that provider.
Billing
Billing, deposits & payments
Providers can add funds to their lead balance. When a paid lead is
matched, the lead charge is deducted from the provider’s available
balance. Deposits and lead charges are tracked in the provider account
ledger.
Provider deposits may be processed securely through Stripe when enabled.
After a successful payment confirmation, the provider’s internal lead
balance is credited by the platform.
Lead review and dispute rules may vary by site policy. Providers should
contact support with the lead details, dispute reason, and any supporting
information within the applicable review window.
Privacy
Privacy & uploaded photos
Uploaded photos are used to generate, review, and route estimate
requests. They may be shared with participating providers when needed
to evaluate or schedule the requested service.
Photos and project details may be reviewed by platform systems,
support staff, AI service providers, and participating local providers
involved in evaluating or responding to your request.
You may contact support to request deletion of uploaded photos or
estimate history, subject to legal, fraud prevention, accounting,
and operational requirements.
Technical
Technical questions
Yes. Estimate forms and photo uploads are designed to work on mobile
devices so homeowners can take photos and submit project details
directly from a phone.
Browser and device behavior can vary, especially for camera uploads,
HEIC images, and multiple photo selection. The platform is designed
to support common image workflows across desktop and mobile browsers.
Try refreshing the page, reducing the image file size, using a common
format such as JPG or PNG, or submitting fewer photos at once. If the
problem continues, contact support with your device, browser, and a
short description of the issue.
